Fire Officer 1 and 2
A Fire Officer 1 and 2 class will be held at Patterson Creek VFC starting Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 9:00 am. The class will meet on Sundays, 9 am to 5 pm. Bill Keller is the instructor. In addition to the 48 hours of classroom instruction participants are required to complete a significant amount of classwork outside scheduled classes. This class combines the requirements for Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive certificates for Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2. Someone already having Fire Officer 1 must attend the entire class to certify for Fire Officer 2. Fire Fighter 2 is a prerequisite for Fire Officer 1. Participants must provide verification of prerequisite to receive certification. Tuition is $45. Books are $120.
