 or.  In addition to the 48 hours of classroom instruction participants ar
 e required to complete a significant amount of classwork outside scheduled
  classes. This class combines the requirements for Fire Officer 1 and Fire
  Officer 2. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive
  certificates for Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2. Someone already havin
 g Fire Officer 1 must attend the entire class to certify for Fire Officer 
 2. Fire Fighter 2 is a prerequisite for Fire Officer 1. Participants must 
 provide verification of prerequisite to receive certification. Tuition is
