This eight-hour course is being conducted at United Technical Center, 251 Marietta St., Clarksburg, WV 26301.  This will be in the portable classroom located next to the burn training tower.  Class meets 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. To be eligible for this class, EMT-Mining cards must be due to expire on December 31, 2019. Recertification must be completed before December 31, 2019.

This module will cover Well Being of the EMT-M, Diabetic emergencies, Altered mental status, Allergies, Poisoning/Overdose, Environmental emergencies, Behavioral emergencies, Musculoskeletal injuries, Injuries to the head and spine, and bleeding/shock.   Skill stations will include spinal immobilization, joint immobilization, and traction splinting.

TUITION will be $60 per person and is nonrefundable.

The AAOS Emergency Medical Responder textbook is available at a cost of $100 each. All fees are subject to change.
