SUMMARY:EMT-Mining Recertification - Module 3
DESCRIPTION:This eight-hour course is being conducted at United Technical C
 enter\, 251 Marietta St.\, Clarksburg\, WV 26301.  This will be in the po
 rtable classroom located next to the burn training tower.  Class meets 8:
 00 AM - 4:00 PM. To be eligible for this class\, EMT-Mining cards must be 
 due to expire on December 31\, 2019. Recertification must be completed bef
 ore December 31\, 2019.\n\nThis module will cover Well Being of the EMT-M\
 , Diabetic emergencies\, Altered mental status\, Allergies\, Poisoning/Ove
 rdose\, Environmental emergencies\, Behavioral emergencies\, Musculoskelet
 al injuries\, Injuries to the head and spine\, and bleeding/shock.   Ski
 ll stations will include spinal immobilization\, joint immobilization\, an
 d traction splinting.\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION AND PRE-PAYMENT IS REQUIRED. Ple
