Classes are 9/23/17-9/24/17.  Cost is $75 for 2-day training.  Checks payable to Wood County Firefighters Association.

**Cookout at Lubeck Volunteer Fire Dept. 9/23/17 around 6PM (1340 Harris Highway, Parkersburg, WV 26101)

AGE  – Participants in practical sessions must be at least 16 years of age. Participants that are 16 and 17 years of age will not be allowed to participate in ANY hazardous activities. The Junior Release Form must be completed and submitted with the registrations.

EQUIPMENT – Students will furnish the following CERTIFIED fire/rescue or EMS equipment for classes.

Fire Classes Equipment Required

  1. Full turnout gear Full turnout or rescue gear
  2. SCBA plus one extra cylinder Hard-toe shoes, goggles & helmet No facial hair can come between the sealing surface of the face piece, such as a beard or goatee.

Rescue Classes Equipment Required

  1. Full turnout or rescue gear
  2. Hard-toe shoes, goggles, & Helmet
GENERAL ASSEMBLY  – A general assembly will be held in the auditorium of the West Virginia University – Parkersburg branch starting at 8:30 a.m. on September 23, 2017. Students will then go to their individual classes; 300 Campus Dr. Parkersburg WV 26104.
