Sprinkler and Standpipe Systems (16 hours)
This is a combination classroom and practical skills training in basic sprinkler system and standpipe operations designed for the new firefighter or for those who wish to refresh their skills. Topics will include general knowledge and operation of sprinkler and standpipe systems and supplying water to fire department connections and operation of hand lines from standpipe outlets.
Instructor: Jim Reynolds (Assistant Chief, Blennerhassett VFD)
Students should have FF1 and bring turn out gear, SCBA, and a spare cylinder.
Cost is $20/person.
