Due to lack of registrations, the Hazardous Materials Awareness class on August 23, 2023 has been cancelled. If you were planning to come tonight, please register for the August 30, 2023 session. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The WV Emergency Management Division has partnered with WVPST to offer two (2) Hazardous Materials Awareness Courses at Nicholas County 911 Center. The first will be on August 23rd with a second class on August 30th.

Description: The 4-hour Hazardous Materials Awareness class meets NFPA 470, 2022 edition. This class includes a complete review of the DOT Emergency Response Guidebook. The ERG is the only text for this class. IFSAC Testing is available. WVOEMS credits will be available for each class.
