FIRE OFFICER I and II

WVPST is proud to offer a 48-hour Fire officer I and II course at the Slanesville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company. This is an upper level program that will be extremely demanding on students and will require attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Fire officers often find themselves leaving the daily ranks of firefighter to being placed in charge overnight with minimal training and preparation. This course will expose you to the demands of the position as well as better prepare you for success in leadership.

Prerequisite: Fire Fighter II. COPIES OF CERTIFICATE MUST BE PROVIDED AT THE FIRST CLASS.

TUITION: $60 per student.

TEXTBOOK: $80.00 – All students are required to have a textbook with access code for this course. J & B, Fire Officer: Principles & Practice 4th Edition

ALL participants must have a laptop computer for class.
