The 120-hour Fire Fighter 1 class meets NFPA 1001, 2013 edition. The class includes NFPA 1001 2013 FF 1 Standard, HazMat Awareness/Operations, and First Aid/CPR. The text is Jones & Bartlett “Fundamentals of Fire Fighter Skills” 3rd Edition – WV custom cover W/Advantage Access. Successful completion of this class provides the minimum requirements by the WV State Fire Commission to respond to fire calls.
Class will be held at Rupert VFD starting on Tuesday, April 3 at 18:00.
Cost for the class is $45; textbook is $75. Instructor is Michael Tincher.
