Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations
The 34-hour Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations class meets NFPA 472, 2013 edition including product control and PPE. Participants learn defensive operations and decontamination techniques. The text is Jones and Bartlett “Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations” 2nd Edition and the Emergency Response Guidebook. The class may also use the Firefighter textbook.
Class will be held at Rupert VFD starting on Monday, May 21 at 6:00 pm.
