EMT Recertification
A 28-hour EMT Recertification Class will be held at South Branch CTC in Petersburg, WV starting Friday, August 18, 2017 at 6:00 pm. The class schedule will be determined by the instructor and participants. Test date TBD. Megan Goldizen is the instructor. Course fee is $50. Applicants must provide documentation of a minimum of 20 hours of Continuing Education, including MCI or Disaster Management related training including drills (2 hours), Annual HazMat Awareness training (8 hours), EMT BLS Protocol Review (4 hours), and an additional 6 hours of CE. Applicants must provide a copy of a current CPR Card. WVOEMS charges a $25 application fee for EMT recertification. Skills Evaluation form must be signed by Agency Medical Director.
