EMT Recertification
A 28-hour EMT Recertification class will be held at Capon Bridge Rescue starting Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 8:00 am. The class will meet 9/17 8am-6pm, 9/19 6-10pm, 9/21 6-10pm, 9/24 8am-6pm, and additional times to be determined. Test date TBD. Course fee is $50. Serena Brafford is the instructor.
Applicants must provide documentation of a minimum of 20 hours of Continuing Education, including MCI or Disaster Management related training including drills (2 hours), Annual HazMat Awareness training (8 hours), EMT BLS Protocol Review (4 hours), and an additional 6 hours of CE. Applicants must provide a copy of a current CPR Card. WVOEMS charges a $25 application fee for EMT recertification. Skills Evaluation form must be signed by Agency Medical Director.
