EMT-Mining Recertification – Module 1

This eight-hour course is being conducted at United Technical Center, 251 Marietta St., Clarksburg, WV 26301.  This will be in the portable classroom located next to the burn training tower.  Class meets on 12/4/2021 from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with a break for lunch.  To be eligible for this class, EMT-Mining cards must be due to expire on December 31, 2021. Recertification must be completed before December 31, 2021.

This module will cover Introduction to Emergency Care, Well Being of the EMT-M, Medical/Legal – Ethical Issues, Patient Assessment, Vital Signs, and associated skill stations.

TUITION will be $60 per person and is nonrefundable.

The AAOS Emergency Medical Responder textbook is available at a cost of $105  each.  If wishing to purchase a textbook you must notify us in advance.  All fees are subject to change.

*Face masks will be required in class if the WVDHHR map shows Harrison County in orange or red.*
