Emergency Services Instructor Course
An Emergency Services Instructor Course will be held September 18, 19, 20 and October 2, 3, 4 at JCESA in Ranson, WV. David Plume is the instructor. The class will be held Fridays 6 to 10 pm; Saturdays & Sundays , 8 am to 5 pm. The cost of the course is $150.00, which includes textbook. This course meets one of the requirements for obtaining an Adult Teaching Permit through the West Virginia Dept. of Education. Successful completion of the course does not guarantee employment as a Public Service Training Instructor. The class is limited to 18 participants. Preference will be given to those who preregister on the WVPST website. This Instructor Course will prepare the participant to deliver training in an EMS, Fire, or Law Enforcement Department. This course will allow participants to receive Instructor 1 certification. In order to receive an Adult Teaching Permit from WV Department of Education, the applicant must meet additional requirements.
