Students must have a computer and reliable internet access in order to complete the assignments required for this class.  Students must also be self motivated and able to manage time well in order to complete required assignments on schedule leading up to each in person class meeting.  Students MUST be present at the first class session on Thursday, January 4, 2023, in order to receive the course schedule and get set up with the necessary online accounts.  Additional in person class meetings will be held on January 13, 21, and 28 from 8am to 4pm.  Lindsay Schrader is the course instructor.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible for the NREMT (National Registry of EMT’s) EMR examination (computer based and scheduled by student at a Pearson Vue testing center).  Successful completion of the NREMT EMR exam is the only route to WV Certification as an EMR.  Students are only allowed to miss 10% of total course hours before being ineligible to successfully complete the class and test NREMT.
