A Water Rescue Awareness/Operations Course (30 hours) will be held at the Parsons Volunteer Fire Department in Tucker County July 27, 28, and August 10, 11 2024. Class will meet 9am – 5pm each day. Tom Klus is the lead instructor. This class meets the JPRs for NFPA 1006, 2021 Edition. Students will be required to either complete, or have already completed, the swim test to participate in the class. Students should come “water ready” to each class session. PPE should include helmet, PFD, whistle, and skin protective clothing appropriate for water.
Course tuition is $55 per student.
