EMT-Mining Recertification – Module 2

This eight-hour course is being conducted at United Technical Center, 251 Marietta St., Clarksburg, WV 26301.  This will be in the portable classroom located next to the burn training tower.  Class meets on 12/3/2022 from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with a break for lunch.  To be eligible for this class, EMT-Mining cards must be due to expire on December 31, 2022. Recertification must be completed before December 31, 2022.

This module will cover Introduction to Emergency Care, Well Being of the EMT-M, Medical/Legal – Ethical Issues, Lifting and Moving Patient, Airway Management, Respiratory Emergencies, Cardiac Emergencies, CPR/AED recertification, Bleeding and Shock, Soft Tissue Injuries, Fractures, and associated skill stations.

TUITION will be $60 per person and is nonrefundable.

The AAOS Emergency Medical Responder textbook is available at a cost of $105  each.  If wishing to purchase a textbook you must notify us in advance.  All fees are subject to change.
