Fire Officer 1 and 2
A Fire Officer 1 and 2 class will be held at Ridgeley VFD starting Sunday July 19, 2020 at 8:00 am. The class will meet July 19 & 25 and additional dates to be determined. Participants are required to complete a significant amount of classwork outside of scheduled classes. Tim Evans is the instructor. This class combines the requirements for Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive certificates for Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2. Someone already having Fire Officer 1 must attend the entire class to certify for Fire Officer 2. Fire Fighter 2 is a prerequisite for Fire Officer 1. Participants must provide verification of prerequisite to receive certification. Tuition is $45. Books are $120. This class will be canceled if the minimum enrollment number is not met.
