Wood County Fire School is pleased to announce their Spring 2026 Fire School. Please click the link to view the brochure. Fire School will be April 11-12, 2026. We are pleased to have 10 classes! Please find the list of classes with registration QR Code in brochure or link below. Junior Firefighter forms MUST accompany class registration forms by emailing them to eva.godbey@k12.wv.us with the course name referenced in the email.

We are pleased to announce a Fireman’s Competition and Cornhole Tournament! Fireman’s Competition will include donning and doffing your gear, a hose relay, bucket brigade, and water streams.

Your team name will be displayed on the plaque displayed at the Parkersburg FD Training Center.

Cornhole Tournament will have a $5 entry fee and teams will be determined by a blind draw. Winner takes all. Please join us at Lubeck VFD (1340 Harris Highway, Parkersburg, WV 26101) on Saturday at 7pm for the games!
