POSTPONED: Water Rescue Technician

Due to low enrollment, this class has been postponed. When new dates are set, the class will be reposted on wvpst.org

A 30 hour Water Rescue Technician course will be held May 31, 2024 and June 1 -2, 2024 at Summers Co VFD.

The textbook is “Water Rescue: Principles and Practice to NFPA 1006 and 1670: Surface, Swiftwater, Dive, Ice, Surf, and Flood”, Third Edition. The same textbook is used for Water Rescue Awareness, Operations, and Technician. Prerequisites include: Must pass swim test and Water Rescue Operations OR Water Rescue Level 1.

You must pre-register using the form below. Please send a copy of your Water Rescue Operations OR Water Rescue Level 1 certificate to sradford@wvesc.org.

The last day to register is May 27, 2024.

This class may be canceled if minimum enrollment numbers are not met.
