Truck Company Operations/Ground Ladders (16 hours)
Truck Company Ops is a class to provide the knowledge base and skill set to perform truck company operations on the fire ground ‘whether you have a truck or NOT’. In this class you will learn the fundamentals of throwing ground ladders with limited manpower, forcible entry, ventilation, search and victim removal. This will be a hands on class that allows the firefighter to perform actual operations that will and should be conducted on the fire ground. The students will need a positive attitude and strong work ethic to obtain the skills and knowledge from this class. This class is not designed for students to fail, but to have the most realistic atmosphere as we have on the fire ground.
This is a hands-on class; will require PPE and an active student.
