Rope Rescue Level 1
A 20-hour Rope Rescue Level 1 class will be held at Great Cacapon VFC starting Saturday July 29 at 8:00 am. The class meets Saturday and Sunday, July 29& 30, and August 12 & 13, starting at 8 am. Jason Hoover is the instructor. This class meets Rope Rescue Level 1, NFPA 1006 Chapter 6, 2013 Ed. Prerequisite for Rope Rescue Level 1 – Rescue Core Prerequisites, NFPA 1006, Chapter 5, OR WVU-FSE Rescue Core Course, OR Rope Rescue High Angle Operations. Participants must provide verification of prerequisite training. Course Fee is $35. Books can be rented for $10, or can be purchased for $70. Helmet, Safety Glasses, and Boots must be provided by participants. Participants can bring a harness or use those provided.
