Rescue Core Prerequisites
A 34-hour Rescue Core Prerequisites class will be held at Berkeley Springs VFD starting Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 6:00 pm. The class will meet evenings 6 to 10 pm and weekends from 8 am to 5 pm on 2/ 20, 22, 24, & 27, and 3 / 1, 3, 4, & 5. Marshall Younker is the instructor. This 34-hour class is a prerequisite for NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue Classes including Rope, Confined Space, Trench, Vehicle and Machinery, and Water Rescue. Class fee is $45. Book is provided for use in class for a $10 rental fee or can be purchased for $70.
This class is one component of a basic Firefighter Academy, but participants can enroll in the separate components.
