Rescue Core and Rope Rescue Level 1
A 40-hour combined Rescue Core Prerequisites and Rope Rescue Level 1 class will be held at Petersburg VFD starting Friday, June 1, 2018 at 6:00 pm. The class will meet June 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, & 10 – Fridays 6 to 10 pm, and Weekends 8 am to 5 pm. This 40-hour class includes Rescue Core Prerequisites and Rope Rescue Level 1. Roger Brafford is the instructor. Rescue Core meets NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 and is a prerequisite for NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue Classes including Rope, Confined Space, Trench, Vehicle and Machinery, and Water Rescue. Rope Rescue Level 1 meets NFPA 1006 Chapter 6. Course Fees – $45 Tuition, Books are provided for a $10 rental charge, or can be purchased for $70.
