WVPST is pleased to announce a Water Rescue Technicians class.

When: July 19-21, 2024

Time: 1800-2200 on July 19; 0700-2000 on July 20 & 21

Where: Princeton Fire & Rescue (704 Maple St., Princeton, WV 24740)

Instructors: Mike Gray, Tracey Gray, CW Sigman, Corey Carr, Cody Carr, Ritchie Gobble, Jonathan Mitchell, Darin Virag

Tuition: $55/person

This 30-hour class meets the Technician Level requirements of NFPA 1006 Chapters 16, 17, and 21. The textbook is “Water Rescue: Principles and Practice to NFPA 1006 and 1670: Surface, Swiftwater, Dive, Ice, Surf, and Flood”, Second Edition. The same textbook is used for Water Rescue Awareness, Operations, and Technician.

Prerequisites include: Must pass swim test, Water Rescue Operations OR Water Rescue Level 1.
