WVPST-Beckley is offering a Pet First Aid class at Beckley Fire Department, Station 3. The class is scheduled for Friday, October 25, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The class will be taught by Chris Graham and Jerry Johnson.
The Pet First Aid class is designed to help pet owners provide temporary, urgent care to pets until they can reach a veterinary or emergency clinic.
The Pet First Aid class includes coverage of:
- Injury prevention and disaster preparation.
- Personal safety precautions to help pet owners identify and minimize risks.
- A wide array of pet emergencies including bleeding and bite wounds, cardiac arrest, choking, burns, poisoning, trauma, and more.
Participants will receive a WVPST In-Service certificate as proof of class completion.
There is no charge for this class, but you must pre-register using the form below.
