WVPST – Martinsburg will be hosting an NFPA live fire training class April 1, 2023 at James Rumsey Technical Institute, 3274 Hedgesville Rd, Martinsburg, WV 25403. This class will meet the requirements to conduct live fire training evolutions required for FF I certification and other live fire evolutions. Class meets the NFPA 1041 Instructor Standard as well as the 1403 Requirements for Live Burn Standard.
Prerequisites – Firefighter I, II, and Instructor I or working to complete Instructor I
Instructor – Captain Darin Virag
Candidates will be required to have full PPE and SCBA with spare bottle.
