WVPST is pleased to share the announcement for L2300: Intermediate Emergency Operations Center Functions, October 8-10, 2024.

Description:
This course is designed to 1) examine the role, design, and function of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and their supportive relationship as a NIMS Command and Coordination component of a Multi-Agency Coordination System; 2) provide training about staffing, organization, information, systems, communications, and equipment needs at the EOC, such activating and deactivating, operations, as well as training and exercising; and 3) focus on the role of an EOC as one of four NIMS Command and Coordination functional groups.

Prerequisites and Requirements:
IS-0100 An Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100
IS-0700 An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
IS-0800 National Response Framework (NRF), An Introduction
IS-0200 Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS 200
IS-2200 Basic Emergency Operations Center Functions
