Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations

The 34-hour Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations class meets NFPA 1072, 2017 edition including product control and PPE.  Participants learn defensive operations and decontamination techniques.  The text is Jones and Bartlett “Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations” 2nd Edition and the Emergency Response Guidebook.  The class may also use the Firefighter textbook.

Class will be held at Athens VFD, starting on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Instructor is Keith Gunnoe.
