FIREFIGHTER 1

This 120-hour course will be conducted at Barrackville VFD, Barrackville, WV (Marion County). Class dates will be: June 14, 15, 16, 19, 21, 26, 28, 30; July 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 16, 18, 20, 25, 27, 29, 31; August 1, 2, 3, 5, & 7, 2023.  Class times will be 6-10pm weekdays and 8am-4 pm weekends.  Josh Tompkins is the lead instructor.

TUITION/COSTS: Student cost $45 plus $50 supply fee. The “Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills” book will be available from the instructor at a cost of $75 each.

*Students must come to class each session with structural firefighting PPE (helmet, coat, pants, boots, gloves, nomex hood, and SCBA cylinder/face mask).  All students must be clean shaven during the course.
