FIREFIGHTER 1

This 120-hour course will be conducted at Albright VFD, Albright, WV (Preston County). Class will begin on April 4, 2026 at 8:00am.  Class days and times will be decided at the first class session. Perry Barlow is the lead instructor for the course.

TUITION/COSTS: Student cost $60 plus $60 supply fee. The “Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills” book will be available from the instructor at a cost of $80 each.

*Students must come to class each session with structural firefighting PPE (helmet, coat, pants, boots, gloves, nomex hood, and SCBA cylinder and face mask).  Gear must be in date in order to participate in the live burn training.
