Firefighter 1
West Virginia Public Service Training is proud to offer a Fire Fighter 1 course conducted at the Romney Volunteer Fire Company. Class will begin on March 9, 2026, at 6:00pm. Classes will meet Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. Additional weekend dates will be discussed during the first class session.
This class will cover FF1, Haz Mat Awareness and Operations, CPR/First Aid and Live Fire Training.
This class will also be IFSAC Eligible. IFSAC testing fees are $25.00 per exam.

TUITION/COSTS: Class cost $60.00 plus $100.00 supply fee. The “Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills 5th Edition ” book will be available from the instructor at a cost of $85.00 each.
