NOTE: Public Service Training is currently not starting any new classes because of the coronavirus pandemic. No one knows when that moratorium on new classes may be lifted. The Firefighter 1 class at Capon Bridge VFD has been postponed. A new start date will be announced when the moratorium on training has been lifted.
A 120-hour Firefighter 1 class will be held at Capon Bridge VFD starting Thursday April 30, 2020 at 6:30 pm. The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30 to 10 pm. This class meets NFPA 1001 2019 FF 1 Standard and includes HazMat Awareness and Operations, First Aid, and CPR. Travis Combs and Jason Judy are the instructors. Class fee is $45. Book is $75. Supply fee is $50. The class will be cancelled if minimum enrollment number is not met.
