Fire Officer I and II

A 48-hour Fire Officer I and II class will start on July 1, 2023 at 8 am at Berkeley Springs VFD.  Please see attached flyer for additional dates and times.

All participants are required to complete a significant amount of classwork outside of scheduled classes.

Instructor: Travis Combs

This class combines the requirements for Fire Officer I and Fire Officer II. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive certificates for Fire Officer I and Fire Officer II respectively. Someone already having Fire Officer I must attend the entire class to certify for Fire Officer II in this program.

A laptop computer will be required for class.

Prerequisites: Fire Fighter II. Participants must provide verification of prerequisite to receive certification.

Tuition is Free from grant funding obtained by Morgan County.
