EMT Recertification
A 28-hour EMT Recertification Class will be held at JCESA in Ranson, WV starting Monday, August 14, 2017 at 6:00 pm. The class will meet Mondays and Tuesdays 6 to 9 pm. Test date TBD. Judy Pittinger is the instructor. Course fee is $50. Applicants must provide documentation of a minimum of 20 hours of Continuing Education, including MCI or Disaster Management related training including drills (2 hours), Annual HazMat Awareness training (8 hours), EMT BLS Protocol Review (4 hours), and an additional 6 hours of CE. Applicants must provide a copy of a current CPR Card. WVOEMS charges a $25 application fee for EMT recertification. Skills Evaluation form must be signed by Agency Medical Director.
