EMR Recertification

The following course will be utilized to meet both the 8 hours of NCCP content required by NREMT as part of the EMR recertification process, as well as to meet the EMR Module 3 skills requirement of the WV Office of Emergency Medical Services (WVOEMS).  This course is designed to run as a single 8-hour day, with 4 hours being lecture/discussion content, as denoted in the course plan instructional methods, and the additional four hours of skills practice/debriefing/discussion covering all required skills for the WV Module 3 for EMR’s. At the conclusion, students will receive both an 8-hour EMR NCCP refresher completion certificate, and a WV EMR Module 3 completion certificate.

Participants must apply to WVOEMS for recertification and submit information in their National Registry accounts according to the current policies of WVOEMS.

Class will be held at Brenton VFD on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 and Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Class times are from 6:00 pm -10:00 pm both days. Tuition is $35. Instructor is Mark Brooks.
