Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

This 155 hour minimum program is the basic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. This class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must successfully complete the program, complete required clinical time, complete the practical skills testing, and obtain a passing score on the computer-based National Registry exam. Recertification is required by National Registry every two years.

Class is being held at Mt Hope VFD. Class starts on Tuesday, Sept 17 at 6:00 pm. Instructor is Shane Wheeler. Tuition is $300; Textbook is $115

Class meeting dates are as follows:

September: 17, 19, 24, 26

October: 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 30

November: 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21

December: 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 21 (10), 28 (10)

January: 7, 9, 11, 14
