WV Public Service Training is pleased to announce a Conventional Forcible Entry/Through the Lock class at Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department.

Description: This class is designed for you to understand conventional forcible entry on the fire ground vs. smells and bells with through the lock knowledge.

This class is designed for the user to understand the different parts of their hand tools, when to apply the different parts, with Inward and outward doors. Saws will also be apart of the tools utilized as many secondary locks can cause issues for hand tools.

Through the lock will be a slower more thought out forcible entry technique as we to assure buildings are secured back once it has been cleared.

PPE Needed: Full structural PPE/SCBA will be needed for this class.

Tuition: $35/person
