WVPST is pleased to announce two offerings of the BLS Instructor Course – one on June 4, 2025 from 0900-1700 at WVPST Charleston (501 22nd St., Dunbar, WV 25064) and the other on June 13, 2024 from 0900-1700 at Wood County Training Center (2311 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, WV 26101).

Description: This course will allow the individual to teach both Heartsaver and Basic Life Support CPR courses within ones agency or department.

Cost: $150 to include Instructor Manuals handed out at each respective course

Please Note: All pre-requisites listed MUST be met before attending class, per American Heart Association. Completion of this course does not guarantee employment with Mountain State ESC.

Pre-Requisites:
• Students MUST possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
• Students MUST complete a $42 online BLS Instructor Essentials Course prior to coming to class and provide certificates to eva.godbey@k12.wv.us or bring with student to class.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED!! Each class is limited to the first 20 people that pre-register.
