A 20 hour Advanced Rope Rescue course will be held at Star City VFD, Morgantown, WV (Monongalia County) on October 1 and 9, 2022. Class will run from 8am – 6pm each day. Jimmy Glasscock is the course instructor. Students must already have Rope Rescue Level 2 or Rope Rescue Technician certification, and must bring a copy of the certificate to the course the first day for instructor verification of prerequisite training. Students should also come prepared with appropriate rope rescue PPE (gloves, helmet, boots, pants). This course will include a variety of scenario based activities to allow students to expand upon skills learned previously. Students should plan to meet the first day at Star City VFD, and then directions to scenario location(s) will be provided from there. Cost for the class is $35 per person.
