WVPST is pleased to announce a Rope Rescue Awareness, Operations being held at Springfield Valley VFC.
When: Rope Awareness – August 22, 2025 – 6pm-10pm
Rope Operations – August 23, 24, 2025 – 8am-6pm
Where: Springfield Valley VFC (239 Springfield Pike Springfield WV 26763)
Instructor: Ed Sankbeil
Tuition: $60
Book: $80.00 (Students may decide if they wish to purchase a book)
Class Size: 20 seats each class
Equipment Requirements: Helmets, Long Pants, Gloves (not fire gloves), above ankle boots, and Safety Glasses. If your department has harnesses, please bring those!
Please practice basic knots prior to coming to class!
