WVPST is pleased to announce a Basic Pumps & Engine Operations class.

Description:
The session will cover pump operation and general knowledge of pumps
and equipment; such as relief valves, proper pumper positioning, appliances needed to supply water to and from
a fire apparatus. This includes drafting from static water sources, dry hydrants, and relay operations.

Gear: Students should come with standard bunker gear. MUST have eye protection, work boots (steel toe recommended), and work gloves.

CLASS DATE: May 31 & June 1, 2025

TIMES: 0800-1600 daily

LOCATION: Hurricane Fire & Rescue (1 Rescue Way, Hurricane, WV 25526)

REGISTRATION FEE: Tuition: $45; Facility Fee: $30
