WVPST is pleased to announce a Firefighter 2 class.

Where: Wood County Training Center (2311 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, WV 26101)

When: December 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 14, 2024

Time: 1800-2200 Tuesdays and Thursdays and 0800-1700 Saturdays

Instructor: Jason Fleak and additional Wood County Instructors

Tuition: $55/person

Textbook: $75/book (if needed)

Supply Fee: $100 (if applicable)

The 40-hour Fire Fighter 2 class meets NFPA 1001, 2019 edition. The text is “Fundamentals of Fire Fighter Skills and Hazardous Materials Response 4th Edition” by Jones and Bartlett – W/ Advantage Access. Successful completion of this class provides the minimum requirements by the WV State Fire Commission to respond to vehicle extrication calls.

Prerequisite: Firefighter 1 (MUST PROVIDE TO WVPST BEFORE CLASS BEGINS!). IFSAC Testing is available.
