West Virginia Public Service Training will be offering a WV Fire Fighter 1, Module 1 course at Point Pleasant VFD (2309 Jackson Ave., Point Pleasant, WV 25550). Class will lead straight through Module 4.

This 36.5-hour module course covers subjects such as: History of the Fire Service, Fire Fighter Safety, PPE/SCBA, Fire Service Communications, ICS, First Aid/CPR & HazMat Awareness.

Location: Point Pleasant VFD (2309 Jackson Ave., Point Pleasant, WV 25550)

Dates: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays starting 9/29/24 and running through February 2025

Times: 1800-2200 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 0900-1700 on Sundays

Instructor (s): JR Spencer, Adam Bryant and Steve Cavender

Tuition: $50/module per person

Textbook: $75

Supply Fee (If applicable): $100

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE AND BE A MEMBER OF A FIRE DEPARTMENT TO BE ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THIS COURSE!!!
