WVPST is pleased to announce a Hybrid Firefighter 1 class.

The 120-hour Fire Fighter 1 class meets NFPA 1001, 2019 edition. The class includes NFPA 1001 2019 FF 1 Standard, HazMat Awareness/Operations, and First Aid/CPR. The text is Jones & Bartlett “Fundamentals of Fire Fighter Skills and Hazardous Materials Response 4th Edition” by Jones and Bartlett – Premier Access. Successful completion of this class provides the minimum requirements by the WV State Fire Commission to respond to fire calls.

Location: Glasgow VFD (119 Tompkins Ave., Glasgow, WV 25086)

Dates: Mondays and Saturdays starting August 12, 2024

Times: 1800-2200 on Mondays and 0900-1700 on Saturdays

Fee: Tuition & Textbook: $235; and Supply Fee (If applicable): $100

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE AND BE A MEMBER OF A FIRE DEPARTMENT TO BE ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THIS COURSE!!!
