WVPST is pleased to announce a Water Rescue Technicians class.

When: July 8, 13, & 14, 2024

Time: 1700-2300 on July 8; 0700-1900 on July 13 & 14

Where: Milton VFD (341 East Main St., Milton, WV 25541)

Instructors: CJ Scalf

Tuition: $55/person

This 30-hour class meets the Technician Level requirements of NFPA 1006 Chapters 16, 17, and 21. The textbook is “Water Rescue: Principles and Practice to NFPA 1006 and 1670: Surface, Swiftwater, Dive, Ice, Surf, and Flood”, Second Edition. The same textbook is used for Water Rescue Awareness, Operations, and Technician.

Prerequisites include: Must pass swim test, Water Rescue Operations OR Water Rescue Level 1.
