Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

This 155 hour minimum program is the basic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. This class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must successfully complete the program, complete required clinical time, complete the practical skills testing, and obtain a passing score on the computer-based National Registry exam. Recertification is required by National Registry every two years.

The cost of the class will be $720, this includes tuition, premier level textbook, and one Platinum Ed login. Books will not be issued until payment is received. If you are a member of a department that will pay your fees, please email sradford@wvesc.org or angela.r.robinette@wvesc.org for a payment authorization form. This form must be filled out and turned in on the first night of class.

Class will begin on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 5:30 pm.

Class schedule: Class will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
