FIREFIGHTER 1

This 120-hour course will be conducted at Kingwood VFD, Kingwood, WV (Preston County).  A pre-class registration will be held on February 5, 2023 at 4 pm at Kingwood VFD.  All students must attend this session to register for the class.  Class will begin on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 8:00am.  Class will meet on the following dates: February 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26; March 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, & 26 2023.  Class times will be 8am-5pm each session.  Perry Barlow is the lead instructor.

 

Students MUST attend the pre-class registration for this class.

 

TUITION/COSTS: Student cost $45 plus $50 supply fee. The “Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills” book will be available from the instructor at a cost of $75 each.

*Students must come to class each session with structural firefighting PPE (helmet, coat, pants, boots, gloves, nomex hood, and SCBA cylinder and face mask).
