Vehicle Rescue Awareness

This 4-hour class meets NFPA 1006 Ch.8, 2017 edition for Vehicle Rescue Awareness. The textbook is “Vehicle Rescue and Extrication: Principles and Practice” 2nd Edition, by Jones and Bartlett. The same textbook is used for Vehicle Rescue Awareness, Operations and Technician classes. There is no required prerequisite training.

Vehicle Rescue Operations

This 16-hour class meets NFPA 1006 Ch.8, 2017 edition for Vehicle Rescue Operations. The textbook is “Vehicle Rescue and Extrication: Principles and Practice” 2nd Edition, by Jones and Bartlett. The same textbook is used for Vehicle Rescue Awareness, Operations and Technician classes. Prerequisite training is Vehicle Rescue Awareness OR Public Service Training Rescue Core Prerequisites.

Class will be held at Quinwood VFD, starting at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Class has been postponed; a reschedule date will be posted at a later time. Instructor is Mark Bass.
