FIREFIGHTER 1

This 120-hour course will be conducted at Whitmer VFD, Harman, WV (Randolph County). Class will begin on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 9:00am.  Class will meet on the following dates: June 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27; July 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, and 31.  Class times will be 9am-5pm.  Tom Klus is the instructor.

TUITION/COSTS: Student cost $45 plus $50 supply fee. The “Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills” book will be available from the instructor at a cost of $75 each.

*Covid 19 guidelines will be followed so students will need to come prepared to wear a mask or other appropriate face covering.

*Students must come to class each session with structural firefighting PPE (helmet, coat, pants, boots, gloves, nomex hood, and SCBA cylinder and face mask).
